01

They are not interchangeable repair peptides

BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide. TB-500 in Clinic Terrain’s scientific corpus denotes Ac-LKKTETQ, a defined acetylated fragment distinct from full-length thymosin beta-4. Evidence cannot travel between these entities by marketing association.

02

BPC-157 has a broader preclinical repair programme

Experimental work discusses gastrointestinal integrity, vascular signalling, nitric-oxide pathways and tendon or ligament models. That breadth creates testable hypotheses, not a universal human healing claim.

03

TB-500 requires stricter entity resolution

Many claims attributed to TB-500 originate from full-length thymosin beta-4 biology. Fragment-specific metabolism exists, but systemic human pharmacokinetics and controlled efficacy for Ac-LKKTETQ remain unresolved.

04

A combination does not repair the evidence gap

Using two mechanistically interesting compounds does not create controlled evidence, correct an unidentified product or replace diagnosis and rehabilitation. A proposed sequence needs a defined objective, baseline and stopping rule.

05

The individual question still comes last

Tendon, ligament, muscle, joint, nerve and gastrointestinal tissue are different systems. Diagnosis, loading, nutrition, medication, proliferative risk and the outcome to monitor determine whether either pathway deserves discussion.

Direct answers

Questions this evidence can, and cannot, answer.

Is BPC-157 better than TB-500?

No universal comparison is scientifically defensible. BPC-157 has a broader preclinical programme; Ac-LKKTETQ has a distinct and narrower entity-specific evidence base. The relevant question depends on tissue, objective, route and product identity.

Can BPC-157 and TB-500 be combined?

A combination may be discussed only as a physician-reviewed proposition with explicit rationale, product identity, baseline, monitoring and stopping criteria. Combining molecules does not itself strengthen the evidence.

Which has stronger human evidence?

Neither has an adequate controlled human efficacy programme for broad recovery claims. Small or indirect human signals must remain separated from preclinical mechanism and from full-length thymosin beta-4 evidence.

Evidence position

The evidence is applied to the specific clinical question. It supports an individual assessment; it does not replace diagnosis or guarantee an outcome.
